Through consultation, Play Rangers inspire children aged 5 - 15 years to play. Their aim is to support the children to improve play opportunities. Play Rangers are currently in Kingswood Park on a Friday and are embarking on a new project supporting 6 South Gloucestershire schools. |

| Childcare groups and childminders can, for an annual fee, become members of Childrens Playlink to access our toys, play equipment and special needs equipment. The membership year runs from April to March. | ||
| Childrens Playlink provides a comprehensive Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Checking service. | ||
| Childrens Playlink organise a range of childcare related short training courses throughout the year. We have introduced a new one day course which covers Health & Safety, Risk Assessment, Fire, Infection control, Manual Handling and Controlling exposure to hazardous substances. | ||
| Childrens Playlink provides a payroll service for childcare groups taking the headache out of tax and national insurance calculations. For contact details of our new payroll officer, select this option. | ||
| Childrens Playlink organises a number of playschemes during the Easter and Summer holidays for children with special needs. | ||
| Free 2 hour play sessions are provided for children aged 5 to 13 years during school holidays (with the exception of Christmas) thanks to funding from Yate Town Council. | ||

Introduction to Working with Children In association with the Community Learning Service in South Gloucestershire, Childrens Playlink are tutoring this course, looking at the importance of play, stages of child development and further training routes to jobs within childcare and play.
There will be 10 sessions
each Tuesday, starting 13th January 2009, from 1pm to 3pm in
Kingswood (creche available if booked in advance).
This course if free to adults with few or no formal qualifications.
